Heather Acton

Heather greets our athletes at the checkin desk and helps keep everything running smoothly. She is also Reid’s mom.

Coach Marcus

Marcus is our lead instructor. He has a profound passion for helping kids in sports, guiding them to succeed and reach their goals. He is currently entering his fifth year playing professional lacrosse in the National Lacrosse League. He also played AAA hockey growing up with the Toronto Marlies.

Coach Emma

Emma played hockey at an elite level, including the chance to compete on travel teams all across Europe. After Emma’s playing days came to an end, Emma quickly stepped into a coaching role. Emma prioritizes building strong relationships with young players.

Coach Matt

Matt first started with Bob Acton Sports as a player, and was coached by our founder Bob Acton. He has been an instructor at Bob Acton Sports for over 10 years, first starting as a Jr. instructor in 2013. Matt last played Jr. Hockey in the PJHL as a defenceman for the Uxbridge Bruins Hockey Club

Coach Oliver

Oliver is a student at Malvern Collegiate Institute and has been playing hockey for over 10 years.

Coach Will

Will is a grade 12 student at Neil McNeil high school. He enjoys many activities such as hockey, rugby and golf.

Coach Lucas

Lucas is a skilled and knowledgeable hockey player. He currently attends Toronto Metropolitan University, where he continues his education and hockey careers.

Coach Eddie

Eddie is an excellent coach and shows a lot of leadership. He has lots of experience at different levels of hockey and has been around the sport his whole life.

Coach Liam

Liam Gardner is one of our Learn to skate coaches. He plays AA hockey and enjoys teaching others how to play. He also likes to play baseball.

Coach Harlan

Harlan is a student at Malvern Collegiate Institute. He has been playing hockey for 13 years.

Coach Elicia

Elicia plays defence for the Etobicoke Dolphins. She enjoys teaching skating in a fun and friendly way! When she’s not on the ice she is definitely spending time with friends and family.

Coach Sydney

Sydney has been playing hockey for 10 years, primarily with the Scarborough Sharks. In addition to working at Bob Acton Sports, she is an assistant trainer to a U-11 hockey team.

Coach Dylan

Dylan has played multiple levels of hockey for a decade now. He has taught at his local arena’s learn to skate program and each year helps to build a community rink.

Coach Cole

Cole is a multisport athlete who grew up playing both hockey and lacrosse and attended Bob Acton hockey camps when he was younger. He had such fond memories of the camp, that he decided to help the next generation.

Coach Hudson

Hudson plays competitive hockey at the AA level in the GTHL and has been skating since he was just 2 years old. Coach Hudson is also super patient and understanding with kids, whether they’re learning to skate for the first time or working on getting better.

Coach Nolan

Nolan has been playing hockey since he was 3 years old and now plays AA on the Leaside Flames. He was once in our Learn to Skate and hockey programs and camps when he was younger.

Coach Ashley

Ashley has been passionate about hockey since she first laced up her skates at the age of 6. Now, she has channelled her love for the game into coaching, finding joy in training young athletes.

Coach Jake

Jake goes to Neil McNeil High School and is very excited and proud to be an instructor for the Bob Acton Sports Learn to Skate program.

Coach Kian

Kian has played hockey since he was 3 years old and enjoys working with youn get kids in our Learn to Skate program.
