BEAST Hockey Camps

Introducing THE BEAST Skills Camps. This new program has been developed exclusively for younger players looking to take the next step into elite-level hockey.

Camps for the 2009-2011 age groups will be coached by our senior level instructors, who focus on player correction.

Beast Christmas Camp

For 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010 Select players (NYHL, OMHA)

Camp welcomes players from over 20+ Select organizations

Teaching Focus: All BEAST skates begin with 20 minutes of advanced edge work and progress into positional training and skill specific drills for Forwards and Defence.

DEFENCE FOCUS: Positional awareness, handling he puck, exiting/entering zones, in zone battles and puck protection

FORWARD FOCUS: Puck control, stick handling in tight space, shooting on the move, puck protection.

Itinerary

8:30AM: All Instructors arrive/Player Dropoff

9:00 – 9:30AM: Wake and Warm Up – Dryland training

9:30-10:00AM: Dressing room

10:00 – 11:00AM*: Ice session #1 (Power Skating, Shooting, Agility Cone drills, Competition)

11:30 – 12:30PM: Snack (Bring own)/Camp store/Mini stick hockey/Hockey tutorial movies

12:30 – 1:15PM: Lunch (Pizza provided on Fridays) Hockey tutorial video

1:15 – 2:00PM: Down time/Dressing room

1:30 – 3:00 PM*: Ice Session #2 (Battle Drills, Skills Competition, Camp Scrimmage)

3:00 – 4:00PM: Snack, Mini Stick game or dryland training

4:00PM: Pick up

* Ice time could vary.

PLEASE NOTE: There are NO REFUNDS on camp purchases. If you need to cancel a camp, a credit will be offered if cancellation is requested prior to seven days of event. Credit will be available for six months from purchase date. The summer camps are purchased as a 5-day package and individual days can't be purchased. No credit will be be available for missing a day of camp regardless of when the cancellation is made.
